Census Bureau: 78.9% of people in Worcester County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 856,858 citizens living in Worcester County in 2021, 78.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 675,791 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 331,854 were male, constituting 49.1%, and 343,937 were female, making up 50.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Worcester County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80.1%.
